KaraSolar carports and canopies have been designed to be tough with great care to their aesthetics, practicality and cost. Our structures come with a 20-year structural warranty (conditions apply)
All of our solar structures are designed and built in the UK In accordance with the latest construction and design management regulations (CDM). We use UK-made materials and components wherever possible. We use British Steel and British Timber.
All our structural components have been designed and fabricated to meet the BS EN 1991 series of standards (Eurocode 3 and 9) for steel and aluminium structures and comply with BS EN 1090-1.
Timber Solar Carports...
Our range of beautiful timber carports is designed for small commercial applications or for domestic use, large scale timber solar structures are available through our custom design service.
Available in Douglas Fir, Larch or English Oak these timber carports look stunning as well as producing lots of free electricity to run your home or your EV. All the timber used in our timber solar carports comes from trees sustainably felled in the UK. Thus supporting our sustainable UK forestry industry and minimising the environmental impact of making the structure.
We can install your solar carport via our national network of installers. Alternatively, our timber solar carports are available in kit form and come with clear assembly instructions and video. It is highly recommended that the structure be installed by qualified professionals.

Steel Solar Canopies...
Our steel solar canopies are made using British steel and manufactured in the UK. We have many designs and all are modular so can vary in length (distance between legs) making our carports span for as long as you require.
We can supply the frame only to allow you to fix your own solar panels, as a complete kit for your people to place or installed by our network of qualified experts.
Your solar canopies can include EV Chargers, Batteries, Lighting and Security Cameras. Colour options are also available to match the environment or your branding. Our installation service can include everything from planning to line painting and we can ensure you of a professional, fast and friendly service. We welcome all enquiries.

Powder Coated Colour Options
Branding & Advertising
Our steel solar carports and canopies are all made of galvanised British steel. It is possible to have a powder-coated finish using almost any RAL colour. Blend your structure with its environment or match it to your company branding. Our solar structures also allow for the opportunity of displaying advertising boards if required.
Solar System Design...
Every solar panel system installed by KaraSolar is designed to match the client's exact needs. From budget restraints to space available we will communicate with you to understand exactly what is required for your installation.
We can include additional items such as batteries and EV chargers and connect them to any existing electrical system (may require some further upgrades).
Commercial or domestic we will always give a straight forward honest opinion. We will design a system to suit you, not us. Above all, you can be assured of a smooth, efficient and friendly service.
Solar System Performance...
We use the software provided by OpenSolar to help us calculate the expected performance of your solar panel system. These estimates take into account the direction of the panels, the pitch, shading patterns, locations and seasons in order to provide a very accurate model.
Your proposal will show a curve of your current usage (in grey) with an estimate of what your system should generate on average per day month on month (in orange).
We can adjust consumption curves and peaks, and set day, night and weekend profiles in order to get this very accurate or we can just use your monthly bills to give us an approximate guide.
