Rutland FM910-4 Furlmatic Windcharger
Designed for applications based on land the FM910-4 Furlmatic is a high wind site version designed for professional and industrial users. A furling tail turns the turbine out of winds above 16 m/s (35 mph) to protect the system in gales. Robust mechanical design combined with latest 3 phase generator makes it the ideal battery charger for low energy applications.
Recommended for exposed or unattended sites. Epoxy coated galvanised steel case & tail. Stainless steel fasteners throughout. Mounts onto 41mm inside diameter tubing or 40mm medium gauge galvanised pipe.

- Rutland Windchargers generate greater ampere hours in real wind conditions than turbines of equal and often larger diameter! This is because our unique high inertia alternator designs maintain momentum between gusts unlike other designs that stall and have to rebuild up speed. This Rutland “flywheel” action results in more free power generated into your battery.

They have innovated in their field by introducing light weight but robust high density nylon and glass reinforced materials.
